Pioneer Foods pack tackle the Wolf Run!

Every year colleagues from Pioneer Foods take part in team-building events to push them to their limits, and this year was no exception. 

On Saturday 13th June a brave team of 13 Pioneer Foods staff decided to run wild and took on the Wolf Run Challenge, a 10k off-road run and assault course at Stanford Hall, Lutterworth. 

The physical and mental challenge saw the team thrust into a river, followed by a series of tough obstacles including wading through mud, crawling under nets, climbing and swimming in rivers.

All 13 finished in record time and needless to say there was a fair bit of laundry to do post event!

Karin Stephens at Pioneer Foods, who encouraged everyone to take part in the run, said: “It was a fantastic challenge to test both our physical and mental strength. We all tested our stamina to the max but more importantly we pulled together as a team and got through it together!

“Everyone enjoyed the day immensely and we all finished with good times with no injuries apart from a few scrapes and bruises!”
